My paid consulting services are shuttered.
At present any consulting is provided pro bono: currently to CAVAL (a non-profit company providing professional services to university libraries) and the OLH (Open Library of Humanities – an open access scholarly publisher). I volunteer as a co-convenor of the regional chapter for AI4LAM (Artificial Intelligence, for Libraries, Archives and Museums – a community of practice) and as a reviewer for ADHO (DHA and DHQ), JOHD, CHR and AeRO. From 2021-2025 was delighted to be an industry advisor to Yuchen Yang (EPFL) doing his doctoral research associated with the Narratives from the Long Tail project led by Prof Sarah Kenderdine Head of the Laboratory of Experimental Museology eM+ at EPFL. Read his PhD thesis (Activating a Fluid Television Archive: Encoding and Decoding via Personal Memories of the Everyday) – especially if you are smitten with cultural heritage data and audience experience and engagement like I am.
